More than a tooth fall

This is my first attempt at a personal blog. One of the reasons that helped my lazy self get into blogosphere was so that my lil ones can read and cherish the memories when they grow up.

Around 5 days back, Y complained that she felt that something was stuck between her teeth and she was feeling uneasy. On further analysis, we found out that it was one of her milk teeth that was shaking and ready to shed. As parents we were shocked with the realization that our small daughter was growing up. Nov 16th 2010 was the fateful day that the shaking lower teeth fell. Y was all excited about her teeth falling, she now had the bragging rights in her school that she was growing up.

During the night, the tooth fairy made her visit to leave a card, some fairy dust and some cash as gift in exchange for the tooth. However the tooth fairy was considerate enough to leave the tooth with her mother as it was the first teeth. Morning we were all waiting for Y to get up and this was the day she decided that she wanted an extended sleep and keep us waiting. It was all worth the wait however to see her excitement on seeing the gift from the tooth fairy, reminding us of the good old innocent days.
